Our Journey and Milestones
Founded in 2020, The Southern Environment began as a grassroots initiative to highlight environmental issues and promote sustainable practices within local communities across Zimbabwe’s southern regions.
Year 2024
In 2020, The Southern Environment was established, aiming to elevate community voices on environmental issues and start crucial conversations about sustainability.
Year 2023
By 2021, we launched our first major awareness campaign, impacting over 2,000 community members and amplifying local stories through digital platforms.
Year 2022
In 2022, we expanded our outreach, partnering with local organizations to host workshops that educated communities on climate action and sustainable living.
Year 2021
In 2023, The Southern Environment celebrated its third anniversary, showcasing numerous success stories highlighting our contributions towards sustainable development in the region.
